Christmas Holidays Closure 2025-26 Membership FAQs
Please be advised Eaton Recreation Centre will be closed from 6.00pm Friday the 19th of December and will resume normal operating hours on Monday the 5th January 2026.
During this time the membership office will be closed.
New Memberships
Please ensure that any new memberships purchased online during the time of our closure have a start date from the 5th of January onwards. As our membership office will be closed there won't be staff available to perform your induction and issue your access band to get into the gym.
Direct Debit Payments
A direct Debit payment run will occur on Friday the 26th of December. Please ensure you have updated bank account details and sufficient funds in your account for them to be debited on this date. If the direct debit is unsuccessful, you will receive a message alerting you and a rejection fee of $15 applied. This will automatically pause your membership and you won't be able to access the gym. To continue to access the gym you will need to pay the money outstanding. This can be done online
How to make an online payment

- Once your personal portal appears you can:
- To view outstanding balances, you will see several tab options along the top of the screen, then select the one that says ‘Payments’
Once you have clicked that, if there are any payments outstanding you can tick them, then select ‘Pay’ and follow the step to process the payment.
- To update banking details, along the tabs on top of the screen, select the one that says ‘Payments settings’
Once you have clicked that, scroll down slightly to ‘Add new payment method’ and follow the step to update your bank card details, or change to direct debit via bank account.

Membership Cancellations and Freezes
All membership cancellation or membership freeze requests during this time need to be received no later than Wednesday 17th of December to allow for time to process. Any requests put through during our closure will not be able to be processed until we reopen on the 5th January
