Membership Freeze Request

Membership freezes' are available for those time when you are going away, are ill or just can’t use your membership for a period of time.  We’ll gladly put your membership on hold for you but we need to know in advance as membership freezes cannot be back-dated.

A Membership Officer will email you a confirmation of receipt of your request within 48 business hours. If you don’t hear back within this time, please call the centre on 9724 0400.

Medical Freeze

A free Medical Freeze may be activated with a valid Medical Certificate for period’s greater than 14 days and up to a maximum of 150 days. A Medical Freeze is separate to the 12 weeks freeze period (84 days) per calendar year. A valid medical certificate outlining the dates should be submitted in this request form. Once your request has been reviewed and approved by our team your membership freeze will be applied.

Membership Freeze Terms and Condtions
  • A membership freeze cannot be backdated.
  • A freeze can only be applied for a minimum of 14 days
  • To return early from a freeze and reactivate your membership, please contact Memberships with a written request via the online freeze form
  • Pro-rata membership payments may be applicable dependent on when the freeze is commenced and finished in your payment schedule.
  • The 28-day cancellation period does not include days a membership is on freeze. The membership must be active.
