We’ve upgraded our systems to enhance your experience! Perfect Gym is now live, streamlining memberships, payments, and bookings, while the Technogym App offers personalised fitness access. Explore the new features below and enjoy a smoother, more connected ERC experience.
Members! Make sure you keep an eye on your email account to receive your Technogym welcome email (don’t forget to check your junk folder!) which includes your unique ERC link to download and set up your Perfect Gym account and Technogym app.
If you already have the Technogym app on your phone or if you downloaded it directly from the app store, please delete the app. Once you receive your email from Technogym use the special link provided to download and set up your app!
Perfect Gym
Perfect Gym, our Leisure Management Software at ERC allows you ultimate flexibility to manage your account, membership, freezes, details and more through the Technogym App! Once you have received your ERC member email and set up your Technogym App simply open the app and select the Member Portal tile to navigate to Perfect Gym from the app.

Technogym App
The Technogym App is a fitness and wellness platform designed to help users track their workouts, access personalised training programs, and stay engaged in their fitness journey.
Key features:
- Personalised workouts – Receive customised training plans based on your goals, fitness level, and available equipment.
- Class booking – Reserve spots for group fitness classes directly through the app.
- Workout tracking – Log your performance and progress as you go (both indoors and outdoors.

- Integration with wearables – Connects with Apple Health, Garmin, Strava and other fitness trackers to consolidate activity data.
With Perfect Gym and the integrated Technogym App you can take control of your wellness journey – track your progress, enjoy personalised workouts, access wellness articles and meditation sessions to reach your goals faster.

How to log in
Already a member
You will receive an email from Technogym with an ERC unique link to create your Technogym account, which is linked to Perfect Gym. Once you have created your account with Technogym app, you will also be able to navigate directly to your Client Portal via the ‘Member Portal’ tile on the Rec Centre menu of the Technogym app.
When logging in to the Perfect Gym Client Portal for the first time via Technogym, please use the email address you have provided us and set your password by selecting "Forgot Password'.
An email will be sent to this email account to reset your password, please allow up to 10-15 minutes for this email to arrive and check your spam folder.
This will be your password for future logins and by selecting the ‘remember me’ box, you will be automatically logged in for the future when accessing via the Technogym app.
Creating an account
If you haven't visited us before, or do not have an existing account with us, please visit the online Client Portal. Select 'Join Now' and follow the prompts.
Not sure if you have an account?
- Click here for the Client Portal
- Select 'Forgot Password' A new page will load.
- Type in your email.
- Select 'Submit'
- If you have an account, you will receive an email to reset your password.
- If you do not have an account, a message will load stating 'Email address not found'.
- If your email address was not found, this means there is no associated account to the email you entered. Existing members should contact the Centre to check their email address if this occurs.
- If you are not a member, please proceed back to the login screen and select 'Join Now' and follow the prompts.

Memberships
Signing up for any of membership options not only gives you access to the great facilities here at the Eaton Recreation Centre and all the member inclusions listed in the membership options, but also allows you to manage your accounts and bookings through the Client Portal and your fitness journey all via the Technogym App.
As well as the use of our great facilities and services at the Centre, a membership also allows you;
- Priority bookings into Group Fitness Classes.
- Priority Crèche bookings.
- Purchase Personal Training.
- Access to the Technogym app and full wellness suite to drive your fitness journey.
- All the services listed below for the 'Guest Accounts'.
Guest Account
Signing up for a free 'Guest Account' through our Client Portal allows you access to a lot of our services and will be essential to do the following;
- Book into Group Fitness Classes.
- Enrol into Programs eg. Pickleball.
- Make a facility/court booking.
- Organise payments for social sports competitions.
A 'Guest Account' provides convenience and ease when planning your next visit to ERC and you will be able to easily upgrade through your account when purchasing a membership.
Changing payment details
- Log into the Client Portal via the Technogym app ‘Member Portal’ tile.
- Select 'My Accounts'.
- Select 'Payment Settings'.
- Select the member or guest you wish to edit at the top of the screen. (If you are paying for a student's account, the bank account sits under the responsible persons/guest account details)
- Select 'Add new payment method'.
- Select which payment method you wish to update and select 'Next'.
- Enter the new details and click 'Submit'.
Checking payments
- Log into the Client Portal via the Technogym app ‘Member Portal’ tile.
- Select 'My Accounts'.
- You will be taken to the 'Edit profile' tab.
- Go to the 'Payments' tab to check your payments.
Updating your details
You can access your online customer portal to update your payment details, postal address and phone number. For all other updates please contact the Centre (08) 9724 0400.
- Log into the Client Portal via the Technogym app ‘Member Portal’ tile.
- Select 'My Accounts'.
- You will be taken to the 'Edit Profile' tab.
- Select the member or guest you wish to edit at the top of the screen.
- Edit your details.
- Select 'Save Changes'.
Purchasing visit passes - account set up
To purchase any visit passes you will need to have created a 'Guest Profile' before purchase.
- Go to the Client Portal.
- Click 'Join Now'.
- Select 'Guest Account' and follow the prompts to enter your information.
Purchasing a visit pass - with an account
- Log into your profile.
- Click on the 'Shop' icon at the top of the page.
- Select the product you require and click 'Add to Cart'.
- Follow the prompts and make payment.
Group Fitness
How to book Group Fitness classes for members
- Open the Technogym App.
- Log into your profile.
- Select 'Book a class' from the Coach menu or select ‘Classes’ from the top of the Rec Centre menu.
- Use the filters to find your preference activity type i.e. 'Start time', 'Trainer', ‘Class’ etc.
- Find your class you want to book and select 'Book' when the booking window is open (25 hours prior to class start time).
- If the booking window is not open, you can instead select ‘Follow’ which allows you to follow the class once you have allowed notification permissions in the app.
- Once booked, you will receive an email with the booking confirmation details.
How to book group fitness classes for non-members (casuals)
- Create a guest account via our Perfect Gym portal
- Make Payment (casuals only). (Pay for a single session via credit/debit card.)
Credit/debit card
- Enter your credit/debit card details.
- Make payment.
- Check your email for confirmation.
Call the Centre on (08) 9724 0400 up to three hours before the class time and our Customer Service Officers will save your place! Alternatively, you can attend in-centre up to three hours before the class.
Please note that if you do not hold an ERC membership you are unable to book classes through the Technogym app.
How to cancel a Group Fitness booking – Members
- Open the Technogym App
- Navigate to the Coach menu and under ‘your appointments’ select the class then select ‘Cancel’ and confirm ‘Yes’ on the message pop-up
Option B: navigate to the Rec Centre menu, select ‘Classes’ from the top of the Rec Centre menu, locate the class in the menu you wish to cancel and select ‘cancel’ and confirm ‘Yes’ on the message pop-up
Note: Booking rules
If you are unable to attend, you can cancel your booking without penalty up to 1 hour before the class starts (to allow others to book in).
If you fail to turn up three (3) or more times in 90 days, you will not be able to make any bookings through the Technogym app for 30 days and will have to book in Centre one (1) hour before class.
How to cancel a Group Fitness booking – Non-Members (casuals)
Call (08) 9724 0400 and speak with a Customer Service Officer to remove your class booking and receive a credit to your guest account. Cancellation must be more than 1 hour before the class start time, otherwise the Group Fitness pass is forfeited Visit passes are non-refundable.
Group Fitness attendance
Once booked in to a class please follow the below steps:
- Arrive on time: no late entry permitted.
- Smooth Transitions: wait for the instructor to invite you into our studio.
- Ensure your attendance is marked by the instructor.
Please note the ‘Booking Rules’ above around class cancellation.
Booking window
To effectively manage group fitness attendance, the booking window for classes opens 25 hours prior to the class for members. This helps:
- Prevent no-shows: shorter booking window leads to increased commitment and attendance.
- Minimising double bookings: Reduces holds on spots, ensure more members have the chance to participate.
- Give everyone a fair chance: Shorter booking windows allow more members to secure a spot rather than missing out due to early reservations that go unused.
Memberships
Please note that under 18’s, Octolegend, Youth and Teen memberships are not available to buy online. Please book an appointment with a Membership Officer by calling the Centre on (08) 9724 0400. Youth, Teen and under 18’s require a parent/guardian be present to sign up.
How to buy a Membership online
- Visit the Client Portal.
- Select 'Join Now'.
- Review the Membership type and Details, Select the membership type and select 'Next'.
- Select your contract start date.
- Register your details, complete the Pre-Exercise Screening and required fields, create your password, read and check agreements and select 'Next'.
- Check your summary, complete the membership agreement and select 'Next'.
- Make payment.
- Select your preferred payment method (bank details or credit card / debit card) for your contract and select 'Next'.
Note: If a 'concession' or ‘FIFO’ membership type is selected we will request a valid concession card or proof of FIFO employment on your first visit. If a valid concession card or FIFO employment is not held the membership will be moved to the non-concession option.
Payment methods
Please note that the details you enter will be linked to your contract for all future payments. You can change your payment details in the future by logging into the Client Portal via the Technogym app ‘Member Portal’ tile and following the above ‘updating your details’ guide.
Bank details
- Enter you bank details.
- You will be taken to the payment gateway to make your initial payment which will need to be made by a credit/debit card and includes the sign-up fee.
- Make payment.
Credit/debit card
- Enter your credit/debit card details.
- Make payment.
- Contract confirmation.
You will receive an email confirming that you are now a member with your contract attached.
Youth and Teen Memberships in-centre
To sign up for a youth or teen membership, the parent/guardian must attend with the minor to complete the Youth pre-exercise assessment tool, sign off on all agreements as the legal adult and connect the youth or teen to the Parent/Guardian account with payment .

Paying membership fees
Pay fortnightly by direct debit
Memberships are paid fortnightly by direct debit. You can pay from any of your accounts that allow direct debit, including a credit card account.
Debits are made Friday each fortnight (or the following business day if it's a Public Holiday). It may take a few days for the debit to show on your account.
Your obligations with direct debit
You must ensure that you:
- Have enough money in your account on the direct debit date, and up to five days after.
- Make any changes to your direct debit details at least 48 hours before a payment is due.
- Request in writing and give us 28 days written notice if you want to cancel your membership. This can be actioned by completing this form.
Payment failures
If your direct debit fails, we will:
- Notify you via SMS, email or phone call, so make sure you keep your contact details up to date.
- Charge a $12 administration fee.
- Ask you to pay the outstanding amount at your next visit to the Centre or add it to your next direct debit. You can also pay via the Client Portal: Accounts – Payments – tick outstanding payment – pay.
- We will continue to debit your account for any amounts outstanding, after making reasonable efforts to contact you.
Changes to fees and other membership conditions
We will give you at least one (1) month written notice of any changes to membership fees. We reserve the right to change other membership conditions, including opening hours, services and facilities.
Freezing your membership
You can freeze your membership at no charge for a minimum of 14 days and up to 12 weeks (84 days) per calendar year. This can be completed by filling out a freeze request form.
Note:
- A membership freeze cannot be backdated.
- To return early from a freeze and reactivate your membership, please contact Memberships with a written request or by completing a new online freeze request form.
- Pro-rata membership payments may be applicable dependent on when the freeze is commenced and finished in your payment schedule.
- The 28-day cancellation period does not include days a membership is on freeze. The membership must be active.
Medical freeze
A free Medical Freeze may be activated with a valid Medical Certificate for periods greater than 14 days and up to a maximum of 150 days. A Medical Freeze is separate to the 12 weeks freeze period per calendar year. A valid medical certificate outlining the dates should be submitted via the Freeze request form to be reviewed and applied should criteria be met.
Cancelling your membership
You must give us 28 days’ notice in writing to cancel your membership. You must pay all outstanding fees before you can cancel. Cancellation requests can be easily submitted via this online form.
Technogym
The Technogym App is your one stop shop for everything wellness. Providing integration to Perfect Gym Client Portal to also manage your membership. Features of the app include:
Book group fitness classes, view your workout program and track activity and results, link your smart watch and fitness apps to track all your daily activity in the one place, view hundreds of workout routines, facility info and more. There is also a complete library of Wellness Magazine articles for you to immerse yourself.
Downloading and logging In
- Download the Technogym App from the email sent to you from Technogym. This ensures the app is linked to the Eaton Recreation Centre.
- Open the app and select ‘Create Account’ (first time logging in) or Log In (if you already have an account).
- Use the same email address that is linked to your ERC membership.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to complete your profile setup.
Navigating the app
Once logged in, the main dashboard provides access to key features:
- Home: Personalised workout recommendations, progress updates, and quick access to your training program.
- Workouts: View and start your scheduled workouts, browse exercise programs, and track completed sessions.
- Coaching: Access guided training programs and on-demand classes.
- Tracking: Monitor your activity, challenges, and performance metrics.
Coach menu
- Book a class – Book into your favourite classes and explore others.
- Appointments – Find all your gym appointments and class bookings in one place!
- Your training programs – view your assigned training program
- Start a precision program – Get superior results faster with a custom training program created by Technogym AI Coach.
- Do it yourself – Create and save your own workouts
- Train outdoors – track your workouts outdoors with:
- GPS Tracking: Use the built-in tracker for running, walking, cycling, and hiking.
- Route mapping: View distance, speed, elevation, and calories burned.
- Sync with other apps: Automatically log outdoor workouts into your Technogym profile.
- Wellness magazine – educate yourself to become a healthier, happier you, selecting from a range of topics. Remember, knowledge is power.
- Activity reminders – Set up push notifications to remind you of scheduled workouts.

- Workouts – select routines for video-guided workouts. Pick your goal, filter by duration, level, body part and equipment to find a routine that suits you.
- Workouts by equipment - Learn about gym equipment and exercises, get tips on using different machines, free weight and body weight correctly.
- Signature programs – Browse structured signature programs designed by Technogym experts for specific sporting disciplines.
- Wellness magazine – Read articles to level up your fitness knowledge! Explore topics from nutrition, training, mindfulness, fundamentals, sport and trainer tips + more!
Challenges menu
- Join community challenges – Compete with other members for fitness milestones.
- Personal challenges – Set up your own fitness goals and track progress.
- Leaderboard rankings – See where you stand among others at ERC for MOVEs with the weekly ranking.
Results menu
- Activity log – Review stats from each completed workout and class.
- MOVEs & MOVERGY – Track your daily MOVEs over time to find out how active you are, aim for 1000 moves per day.
- Training effectiveness – Get insights on how your workouts contribute to your fitness goals.
- Wellness passport – Track body metrics: weight, body composition, measurements, blood pressure and more.
- Earn badges – Complete challenges and earn badges displayed in the Results menu.
Profile
Manage personal details, settings, and link devices and apps.
- Wearable devices – Sync with Apple Watch, Fitbit, Garmin, Polar, Whoop, and other heart rate monitors.
- Health and fitness apps – Integrate with Apple Health, Google Fit, Strava, and My FitnessPal for seamless activity tracking.
What is ‘MOVEs’ and ‘MOVERGY’?
MOVEs are an objective measurement of all types of activity you do – no matter your age, gender or fitness level – the higher the intensity, the more moves you earn. Moves measure all your physical activity to challenge yourself or have some healthy competition and compare with your friends to challenge them for fun. Connect your Apps and devices through the Home Screen on the App, to record daily activities and training outside the gym. Track your daily Moves over time to find out how active you are, aim for 1000 moves per day.
MOVERGY is an index of your daily MOVE average over two weeks. Use your MOVEs and MOVERGY to stay motivated, compare how active you are with your friends, and challenge them for fun.
Creche
Information
Eaton Recreation Centre is excited to introduce a new booking system for parents/guardians booking their children into Crèche.
This online booking system means parents can book their child into Crèche securing their spot early. Priority access to book is provided to Members.
Bookings via the new online booking system within Perfect Gym will commence from Thursday, 6 March 2025.

Payment for creche passes is taken at reception for your child and the passes (credits) applied to the child’s account. Bookings will then be made via the Client Portal. Your spot is not confirmed until payment is made. Bookings will need to be made before attending the Centre.
Enrolling and setting up your children
To register your child for Crèche all families are required to complete the online Crèche Enrolment Form.
We are requesting all families complete this form to ensure we have up-to-date information in the new system.
If you are not a member: You will need to set up a free ‘Guest Profile’ in Perfect Gym.
- Go to the Client Portal
- Click 'Join Now'.
- Select 'Guest Account' and follow the prompts to enter your information.
Once a guest or membership account is set up in the Client Portal, and the enrolment form has been completed and received, the Eaton Rec team will set up your child's access membership based on the parent/guardian membership/guest status.
Once you receive the confirmation email you can now book your child into the Crèche.
Booking your child into Crèche
If you have not completed the “Enrolling and setting up your children” instructions found directly above, you will not be able to book your child into Crèche.
Once completed and for existing members as at 4th March 2025 who have been migrated across, follow these instructions.
- Log into the Client Portal via the Technogym app ‘Member Portal’ tile.
- Select ‘Book’ from the menu at the top and then the day you would like to book.
- Select the relevant age group you are looking for – select “Book now”.
- Select the child you are booking in – (if you have a multipack, you will go straight to step 8).
- If you are paying for a single session, you will be directed to the payment section.
- Click ‘Pay now’, or if you have multiple children, click ‘add to cart’.
- You will be taken to the payment screen to process payment.
- Once payment has been made you will see a confirmation screen and receive a booking confirmation email.
Note. Creche 10 pass multipacks can only be purchased at reception in the Centre and are applied to the child’s account. When booking online, the pass will be applied against the child’s booking. Single passes can be purchased and paid for online.
How to cancel your Crèche booking
- Log into the Client Portal via the Technogym app ‘Member Portal’ tile.
- Navigate to “My bookings”.
- Find the relevant booking to cancel and click “Cancel Booking”.
Note. A credit will be applied for creche bookings cancelled at least 90 minutes prior to the creche opening time. Cancellations within the 90-minute timeframe will result in the creche pass being used.
