Gym training for 11 – 15 year olds

Each session is supervised by our fully qualified, energetic trainers that follow the national guidelines for adolescent health and fitness. Our instructors will show you how to use the fitness equipment in a fun and supportive environment.

The sessions run Monday to Thursday at 4pm for 60 mins and continue through the school holidays. You can join the program at anytime. We require participants to update their pre-activity and registration yearly or if anything changes.

SESSIONS

MON 4 – 5 pm 

Supervised resistance training session using free weights and machines to learn correct form, develop strength and keep our teens’ growing bodies healthy and injury-free.

TUES 4 – 5 pm 

Participants will be guided through selected gym programs to help them gain confidence in the gym, and achieve individual fitness goals

WED 4 – 5 pm

Fun and functional sessions involving team games and a variety of workouts to keep our teens motivated to move.

THURS  4 – 5 pm

Teens will love our movement sessions with cardio and body weight combined with mobility and stretch exercises. Rejuvenate the mind and body in this session designed for recovery.

Youth membership 14 - 15 years (includes supervised gym access, Teenfit and 14yrs+ classes)

What else should I know? 

A registration and pre-activity form is required to be signed by a parent/guardian prior to the first session and renewed every calendar year, or when any information requires updating.

All sessions are conducted by qualified, experienced and energetic instructors and follow national guidelines for delivery of children and adolescent’s health and fitness services.

We encourage independence in our program so prefer parents do not attend the sessions, but are welcome to speak to the trainers before or after the sessions.

Access for will not be allowed in to gym any earlier than 15 mins prior to session though courts may be available for casual shots on request.

Change rooms are available.

Please bring a towel, water bottle and your access band each visit.
