Youth Fit is a fun, structured fitness program designed for young people aged 11–15 years. The program focuses on building confidence, strength, and fitness while teaching safe movement skills and healthy exercise habits in a supportive environment.
📅 Sessions: One 45-minute session per week
🕓 When: Mondays or Wednesdays, 4:00 – 4:45pm
🏠 Bonus: Each participant also receives a simple home-based workout every week to keep active between sessions.
Youth Fit is led by qualified instructors who make fitness engaging, safe, and tailored to this age group. Whether it’s learning technique, boosting self-esteem, or having fun with peers, Youth Fit sets the foundation for lifelong healthy habits.

What is Youth Fit?
It’s a structured gym-based program for 11–15-year-olds. It helps build confidence, learn proper technique, improve fitness, and understand how to use the gym safely.
Can my child just come in and train by themselves?
No – Youth Fit is a fully supervised program. Outside of these sessions, young people under 16 can't access the gym unless part of a separate supervised or youth membership arrangement.
How do I sign my child up?
If you are a new to the ERC community you will need to set up a member account with us.
- Go to Perfect Gym
- Click 'JOIN NOW'
- Select 'CREATE FREE ACCOUNT' then next
- Complete all required fields and click 'CREATE ACCOUNT'
- You now need to connect your child to your account. To do this, go to the 'ACCOUNT ' section and then click 'FRIENDS AND FAMILY'
- Click 'ADD FAMILY MEMBER'
- Select "CREATE NEW ACCOUNT" then next
- Complete all required fields and click 'CREATE ACCOUNT"
- Now you're ready to book into a class!
Once you have created your new account or if you already have an account you will need to book into a class
- On your account dashboard, go to 'BOOK'
- Go to the 'COURSES' tab
- You will now see the available classes to register for
- Click 'ENROL NOW'
- Ensure you click on your child's account and select 'ENROL NOW'
- In Payment section please select 'CASH'. You won't be charged this will allow us to complete the enrolment
- A summary of your bookings can be found under "MY BOOKINGS TAB'
Can my 10-year-old join? They’re very mature.
Youth Fit is strictly for ages 11–15 to ensure age-appropriate training. We’d love to see them next year!
Is this like a PT session?
Not quite – it’s a small group setting led by a qualified fitness coach, with a focus on learning, movement skills, and building confidence – but not personal training.
What does my child need to bring?
Just activewear, closed-in shoes, a water bottle, a towel, and a positive attitude is a bonus too!
Do parents need to stay during the session?
No need to stay – you're welcome to, but the sessions are fully supervised by trained staff.
How much does it cost?
We’re offering an introductory price of $77 for the full 7-week program.
Youth Fit - Weekly Journey
Week 1: Getting Started
We kick off the program with fun icebreakers, confidence-building activities, and a baseline check of fitness skills so participants can see their progress at the end of the term.
Week 2: Strength Foundations
Introduction to basic strength movements using safe, age-appropriate techniques. Participants learn how to move well and build control.
Week 3: Fitness Through Fun
A high-energy week that combines fitness skills with interactive drills to develop coordination, teamwork, and endurance.
Week 4: Power & Agility
Explosive and fast-paced exercises are introduced to improve speed, reaction, and balance in a fun and supportive environment.
Week 5: Endurance Challenge
Participants learn how to keep moving with resilience and determination. Sessions focus on building stamina and confidence.
Week 6: Skills Showcase
A mix of activities brings together everything learned so far, encouraging independence and reinforcing safe training habits.
Week 7: Final Challenge & Celebration
Participants revisit Week 1’s baseline to celebrate their progress and growth, finishing with a group challenge and recognition of everyone’s achievements.
