The Eaton Recreation Centre was abuzz with excitement recently as it hosted the Elite Eisteddfod, a premier dance event showcasing the talents of 88 troupes from dance schools across the Southwest and metro areas.
Over five days of vibrant performances, a total of 1,029 participants took the stage in three daily show blocks from Wednesday to Sunday, while hundreds of proud family members and friends cheered from the sidelines.
Turning the Centre’s sports courts into a grand performance stage was no easy task.
The successful transformation was a result of meticulous planning, teamwork, and the relentless dedication of the organisers and staff.
Events of this magnitude require immense effort, coordination, and dedication.
Thanks to the Eaton Recreation Centre staff who played a role in making this event such a success.
Below are some short videos and photos capturing the event’s highlights, showcasing the stunning transformation that took place inside the Eaton Recreation Centre.
With its focus on celebrating community and promoting active lifestyles, the Eaton Recreation Centre remains committed to providing a welcoming space for events that bring people together.
The Centre looks forward to hosting the Elite Eisteddfod again in 2025, with even more extraordinary performances and memorable moments.
Here’s to celebrating our community, focusing on our customers, and striving to get “everyone active, moving more, LIVING more” at ERC!
